Pride Bigger Than Texas is San Antonio's OFFICIAL community PRIDE celebration. Pride Bigger Than Texas features entertainment, food and merchandise vendors as well as a health and immunization fair and pet adoptions. Come join us for a variety of amazing food and entertainment as we celebrate the accomplishments of the LGBT community of the San Antonio metropolitan area. Pride San Antonio is operated by an all volunteer Board of Directors and all-volunteer committees. Pride San Antonio was founded by a small group of community organizers and activists who dreamed of San Antonio being a place of safety and visibility for the LGBT community. Pride San Antonio contributes excess funds from its programs to local charities and nonprofits selected annually by its Board of Directors. In the past 23 years Pride San Antonio has contributed nearly $400,000 to the San Antonio community through grants and community work.

Pride San Antonio is celebrating 23 years of service to the San Antonio LGBT community. Pride San Antonio is operated by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and all-volunteer committees. Excess funds from Pride San Antonio programming is distributed publicly to local charities and nonprofits selected annually by the Board of Directors of Pride San Antonio. Pride San Antonio facilitates the needs of individuals so that individuals can facilitate the needs of the community. Pride San Antonio worked with the City of San Antonio to create the iconic Rainbow Crosswalks. And in 2025 Pride San Antonio celebrated with the City of San Antonio a 15-year odyssey towards community recognition and celebration with the establishment of the Pride Cultural Heritage District located in the heart of the neighborhood where we host Pride Bigger Than Texas.
